Regional Sales Manager - Brazil

Role Objective

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for maintaining and developing customer relationships with a view to stimulating profitable growth while simultaneously increasing Centek market share and enhancing brand awareness/loyalty.

Scope

Based in Brazil. In-depth knowledge of local cultures and languages is essential. 

Reports to

Strategic Account Managers

The Role

You will be responsible for developing and implementing our business strategy which will enhance revenue streams as well as the Centek brand. You will play an integral role in growing our customer base internationally, building and developing a network of prospects and customers. By exploring leads and opportunities you will increase the profile, market share and exposure of the business. Face to face liaison with key customers on regular basis is a key aspect to the role.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop innovative commercial offerings
  • Conduct technical presentations for customers
  • Expand product awareness with customers
  • Introduce new products and product enhancements to customers
  • Assess opportunities to enter new market segments
  • Use computer programmes such as LatLoad to assist customers and end users
  • Travel throughout the region
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual matters
  • Share product and customer knowledge with other regional sales managers
  • Work with the Centek Centre of Excellence (COE) and Manufacturing departments to
  • ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time
  • Attend suitable trade shows, customer events and promotional activities
  • Continuously build product knowledge
  • Timely monthly reporting

The ideal candidate will have..

  • Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Key industry knowledge of Casing, Cementing and Centralizers with the ability to identify and understand market trends
  • Technical experience in Deepwater
  • A proven track record in sales and business development selling to the major operators e.g. BP, ENI, Shell, Exxon Mobil, Chevron
  • Demonstrable experience of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent presentation, communication, IT and report writing skills
  • Experience in using CRM systems
  • Been based in Brazil for number of years
  • An excellent knowledge of all relevant local cultures and is able to conduct business in key local languages and English
